Aseity, at least in Judaism and Christianity, is an extremely strong and exclusive term, in fact the most absolute of absolutes (pardon the phraseology); terms like "self-existence" and "self-derivation" get at the idea but really only begin to capture it. Previous definitions have been inadequate; it's tempting to keep tweaking. – HelpMyUnbelief (talk) 04:01, 9 February 2023 (UTC)
