astragal[edit]

Rfv-sense: Synonym of dice. I'm not sure exactly what this is, but it doesn't seem to be a direct synonym. This, that and the other (talk) 08:02, 31 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Note this sense is listed at singular astragal too (but says "plural only"!). Equinox 09:22, 31 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
Procedural note, I have also RFV-tagged the "plural only singular". - -sche (discuss) 22:27, 23 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
Citations:astragal. It seems to refer to a four-sided die made out of an anklebone. I would redefine the singular and then define astragals as merely the plural. - -sche (discuss) 22:37, 23 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
I've cited and redefined the singular; I would drop the "synonym of dice" plural sense since the plural, AFAICT, is just a regular plural of the singular. - -sche (discuss) 23:25, 25 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
