as for the ethymology section: "In Greek mythology, the name Chthonia (Χθωνία "of the earth") " - this is taken from the wikipedia page for "Chtonia". "Auto-" is easier, it means "self-" or sthg similar. so it would be sthg like "same with the land/earth/soil" or "of the land".
Χ: -kh-, like in "eCHo", or "teCHnical" or "THesis"
θ: -th-, like in "THink"
ω: -o/ou-, like in "phOny", or "gO"
ν: -n-, self evident like in "Noun"
ί: -ee-, like in "trEE"
α: -ah/oh/u- like in "Umbrella", or "umbrellA", or "bAr"
