Declension (Polabian)[edit]

Under the typographic dagger, I'm proconstructing the wordforms without testified endings in written monuments. Based on systemic considerations. Without the "subjunctive mood". Under the typographic asterisk, I'm proconstructing the wordforms with testified endings in written monuments. By the classics:

  • *bȍga (shift) > bügó
  • *bȍgъmь (shift) > büďǻm
  • *bȍgy (shift) > *büďái
  • *bodzěxъ́ (by Ivšić's law) > *bodzě̃xъ (blocking) > büdzéx
  • *bogý (shift) > *büďĕ

In a word, a complete restructuring of the Proto-Slavic accent system, with the exception of (long/short) neoacute. If my edit is not convincing, cancel it. Gnosandes (talk) 21:21, 27 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
