[edit]

The following information has failed Wiktionary's deletion process (permalink).

It should not be re-entered without careful consideration.

Singular boca has no English entry. -- Medmunds (talk) 22:25, 1 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

The English noun boca was added by an unregistered user [1], amended by SemperBlotto [2], reverted by Surjection [3], re-added by an unregistered user [4], and re-reverted by DTLHS [5]. As far as I can tell, there was no RfV or RfD for the English word. These were out-of-process removals. 98.170.164.88 22:37, 1 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
I reverted it because it was added by an IP known for making stuff up. This in particular was their "what's code-switching?" phase where they added words from a bunch of languages as English words. — SURJECTION / T / C / L / 05:30, 2 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Surjection Is familia another one of theirs? Theknightwho (talk) 05:56, 2 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
I think so. At least some of the senses that were there originally were. — SURJECTION / T / C / L / 05:58, 2 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
So would it be reasonable to delete the purported English plural bocas under the same logic? (Can I just do that, or should I wait for the RFD process now that I've started it?) -- Medmunds (talk) 02:22, 4 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
I deleted it, form-of entries for which the main entry doesn't exist are worse than useless, it can be re-added if the lemma is added. - TheDaveRoss 18:34, 21 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
