- At fr.wikt, they have chosen to pass it based on hearsay (their process is less stringent than ours, to put it lightly). Their discussion can be seen here. Their current definition still has an obviously incorrect part of speech and a seemingly nonsensical definition, as modified by @Lyokoï. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 02:53, 28 March 2020 (UTC)
- Hello ! I have a kinyarwanda speaker in my house currently and I do the modification with his control. « bogobogo » is an adjective for a color who is between the blue and the persimmon. According to him, it is not the blue color, ubururu is the good word for that. Lyokoï (talk) 12:23, 28 March 2020 (UTC)
- Again, we need more evidence than just trusting your hearsay. And again, it is almost certainly not an adjective (Kinyarwanda has a closed set of fewer than two dozen of them), and your definition still makes no sense to me. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 19:13, 28 March 2020 (UTC)
- @Lyokoï To clarify: I think the more likely sense of kaki in the original definition is the color, which corresponds to English khaki, and not the fruit. The problem I see is that the colors given seem to be mutually exclusive, so "bluish-khaki" or "bluish-persimmon" make no sense. Chuck Entz (talk) 19:41, 28 March 2020 (UTC)

- How does that differ from blue? Is that colour panel one that you just made up, or was it suggested by your friend? (And, of course, there is the continuing problem that the PoS at fr.wikt is obviously wrong, which you haven't fixed, and more importantly for this RFV, the fact that there is literally no usage I can find even in a raw Google search.) —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 17:52, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
