Talk:bottom of the hour

I've seen this and others point to the "bottom of the hour" being a reference to clock hands, but with no real references.

I don't have any good references either, but this "feels" like more of a "top/bottom of the hourglass" referring to the first half of the hour when the sand is disproportionately located in the top chamber vs when the sand is in the bottom portion.

I'll likely never return to this entry, so I'll leave it to the universe :)
