- @Mar vin kaiser It's from the Tagalog list in the Austronesian Comparative Dictionary (Blust and Trussel 2010-), which in turn cites Panganiban 1973 and Fr. English 1985. Need to check as well KWF and Sagalongos 1968 if the adjective and noun senses are pronounced differently (the ones in ACD provides separate pronunciations). - @TagaSanPedroAko: In both Panganiban and Fr. English, bunsó and bunsô are used for both adjective and noun, though from personal experience, I've never heard bunsó, only bunsô. It seems like only ACD provides separate pronunciations, but ACD itself is only a secondary source for modern pronunciations, I would say. --Mar vin kaiser (talk) 00:52, 20 November 2021 (UTC)

- @Mar vin kaiser Non-glottal stop is possibly dialectal, this research gave bunso pronunciation as [bʊnsɔ] without glottal stop.
