Carbon nanotubes were the original nanotubes, so it is possible that the term carbon nanotube predates the independent term nanotube, in which case I would keep. Otherwise it is probably SOP, there are lots of specific nanotubes. - [The]DaveRoss 11:20, 12 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
