Old Irish deleted without discussion[edit]

I'm trying to fill in some requested Anglo-Norman terms, I found this one (cassur). First of all, I'm not sure what "cassur" is meant to be, I think it means breaker (as in casser +‎ -ur). Most importantly I discovered that the Old Irish was deleted without any discussion nor even being mentioned in the edit summary. I don't know why; this seems extremely dubious and I would really rather we restore it and rfv is if necessary. See diff. Renard Migrant (talk) 18:02, 10 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

As far as I can tell from [1], the word isn't attested until Early Modern Irish. It cites an article on French loanwords in Irish by someone named Risk for Anglo-Norman cassur, comparing it with French casseur, so yeah, "breaker". —Aɴɢʀ (talk) 18:45, 10 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
