Verb sense needed. — Hippietrail 11:37, 24 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

We seem to have them now. I thought there was a 1980s computing verb meaning "load and then automatically run" (a program, probably from tape or disk). It was definitely a keyword in some BASICs. Couldn't cite it, but I suppose the richest sources would be magazines, which aren't well represented on Google Books. Equinox 17:10, 29 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Group of bobolinks[edit]

Supposedly "chain" is the collective noun for a group of bobolinks. I could only find this single book citation. Equinox 03:36, 25 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Walking toward the barn, under a chain of bobolinks perched on a low-slung clothesline (their droppings, no doubt, sticking like paste to the weathered fibers), Millie thought about the idea of spending time with this gentle German.
