Scots

Do the Scots not regard their language as English? They can't lay exclusive claim to English words which are in common use a hundred miles south of the border! Dbfirs 00:33, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

(later) OK, perhaps I should allow Scotland their own words and spellings if they wish, though I reserve the right to create Yorkshire and Cumbrian languages at some future date (many years hence). Would it be better if I added an English entry? Dbfirs 00:59, 4 April 2008 (UTC)

Comparatives

The closest words, such as "crafty" would form -ier and -iest comparatives rather than using "more" and "most". So, surely "clartier" and "clartiest" rather than "more clarty" and "most clarty". Not having ever come across the word until 24 hours ago, of course I am not the expert on the specifics, but my native feel for English suggests the opposite of what is given here.
