I need help!! Big time. I'm doing an essay on virtuosity in the nineteenth century, and i've been using paganini's violon concerto no.2, the 3rd movement (Rondo) as means by way of example and one of the techniques used/written is the word 'cloche'.

Please can someone explain to me what this is? i'm a singer, sorry.
