Talk:codesto

Codesto is used in Tuscany ONLY, and is very rare. It is mostly used in the countryside and by elders. Codesto differs from questo, which means this, here, next to me, and quello, which means that over there. Codesto means that, near you, used if you are with someone else. Say your friend is holding a book. In Tuscan, you would describe the book as codesto, because it is "that, near you." If you are holding the book, it would be questo, and if neither of you has the book, it would be quello.
