Dutch pronunciation[edit]
@Thadh, Lambiam, Alexis Jazz, DrJos, Rua The Dutch audio file uses /ʃ/, but this is remarkable because one says /x/ in Colchis, from which the word colchicine has been derived. However, I cannot say that I am familiar with colchicine. Does anybody know whether the audio is correct? ←₰-→ Lingo Bingo Dingo (talk) 18:56, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
- @Marcel coenders, MarcoSwart speaker and someone who knows more about this than I do. Listen to a pharmacist-researcher trying to pronounce it, but I clearly hear a G-sound there. Alexis Jazz (talk) 19:24, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
