Romanian translation[edit]

@Fytcha: You've added cultură generală as a translation, but in its entry cultură generală is glossed as "general knowledge", which does not mean the same thing as "common knowledge". Does the Romanian expression mean both? PUC10:32, 25 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

@PUC: Hmm, thinking about it again, I agree that cultură generală is closer to general knowledge but AFAIK there is no better fitting expression in Romanian for common knowledge. Not sure if the difference in semantics justifies an anteceding {{no equivalent translation}}. Pinging @Robbie SWE. — Fytcha T | L | C 16:04, 24 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Fytcha, @PUC; sorry for my delayed response. In all honesty, cultură generală is the only phrase I have seen conveying this meaning. Tried looking for cunoștință generală, but that gave much more sporadic results. I think Fytcha is right on the money. Robbie SWE (talk) 18:01, 25 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
