Because the word coursework (and hence, "course work") is uncountable, I suggest removing the line "(plural course works)". What are the opinions on this? Theoboyd 00:47, 15 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Actually, it is countable, albeit rarely. Consider:
  • 1973, N. N. Shneidman, Literature and Ideology in Soviet Education‎, page 121
    [] the work of the yearly seminars in the second-third, fourth-fifth, and sixth-seventh semesters and to complete not less than four course works (essays).
  • 2002, Rachel Thomson. Unfolding Lives: Youth, Gender and Change‎, page 113
    I have like two more weeks at school and I have three course works to hand in and I have to start them. Not just finish them.
