Does either of these senses suffice to explain "cross-disciplinary" and "cross-browser" (i.e. involving or suiting more than one)? Equinox 21:27, 28 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Your examples sound more like cross as a preposition, meaning across, very similar to the example in cross#Preposition of cross country, which I usually see and spell as cross-country. -- Bricaniwi 18:13, 2 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
