"Incidental"[edit]

Owing to the polysemic nature of incidental, I'd suggest rewriting the definition.

1. Unwanted sounds or other signals picked up by one channel of an electronic communications system from another channel, e.g. between telephones or loudspeakers
2. Side conversation: talking that is not part of the main conversation and may distract from it Backinstadiums (talk) 10:36, 5 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
