Mandarin. Supposedly the pinyin of 嘚 (etymology 3), but 漢語大字典 gives děi. Theknightwho (talk) 16:00, 28 June 2022 (UTC)

- @Theknightwho: I think the scan of 漢語大字典 you have above has some issues. If you look at this version, you'll see that 嘚 has a dēi reading, and this is also confirmed in 现代汉语词典 (7th edition). — justin(r)leung { (t...) | c=› } 16:35, 30 June 2022 (UTC)
