Limited Destruction[edit]

Is there a form of demolishing that is less than total destruction or tearing down? I feel that I have seen this use before and that it may be nonstandard. The build ing still stands, but maybe everything inside is messed up. Idk It would be most frequently seen as "The place was totally demolished" meaning like maybe pictures fallen down, stuff everywhere, carpet ripped up or something like that. It is kind of half way in between the formal sense and the figurative sense. Geographyinitiative (talk) 14:10, 23 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
