Scottish Doublet[edit]

The only definition of "doublet" (2nd version) is that it is a tight-fitting jacket, It is, however, worth noting that the "doublet" also exists in Highland formal wear, although this version is poorly defined, it is certainly not a "tight-fitting jacket", the defining feature is usually an Inverness Skirt, four pieces of fabric with buttons on them attached to the bottom of the jacket/coat.
