Pretty sure this doesn't exist in Old Prussian. According to Twanksta.org, this is a neologism based on Lithuanian dugnas, Latvian dibens, and Polish dno. 70.172.194.25 09:03, 9 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Nesselmann has: "dups, Prov. [= Provinzialismus], der Hintere, podex (poln. [= polnisch] dupa)."
padaubis (valley) is actually attested in Prussian from this root. There's also dambo (apparently meaning ground), which may be connected. I'm not sure where Nesselmann got dups from; do you know? 70.172.194.25 09:26, 9 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
