Origin[edit]

4chan implemented a wordfilter replacing wapanese ("white person obsessed with East Asian culture") with weeaboo circa 2006. Egg is a synonym of the former and I suspect it was the target of a wordfilter for this reason. WordyAndNerdy (talk) 08:04, 4 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
