Substituted a more precise specification of this principle. The original definition was indistinguishable from ordinary contract law principles.

I do not want to make this specification too complex and out of reach of the lay person, but there are important differences between estoppel and contract. This is an area about which entire texts are written. It is not so simple as had originally been defined.
