Expanded rationale: A clinic is "a medical facility, such as a hospital, especially one for the treatment and diagnosis of outpatients", a fever is "a higher than normal body temperature of a person (or, generally, a mammal), usually caused by disease". Fever clinics are set up when there is a contagious disease outbreak that includes fever as a symptom, to diagnose people with fever (and to provide treatment if possible and necessary) to verify what caused the fever; isolation is necessary to prevent fever clinics from being hotbeds. ←₰-→ Lingo Bingo Dingo (talk) 12:56, 1 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
