Rfv-sense "Generally, a manufacturer of bows and arrows". The only citation makes a distinction between "bowyers, fletchers, and arrowhead makers" and therefore does not verify the sense. It's also given as a synonym at bowyer. SpinningSpark 22:12, 5 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Regarding the other sense, "One who fletches or feathers arrows", other dictionaries I've checked say that "fletcher" means a person who makes arrows, rather than specifically one who fixes the feathers on them. Mihia (talk) 20:36, 11 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
Our and others' definitions of fletch#Verb have it meaning to feather an arrow. Thus fletcher could be expected to have the challenged meaning refer to one who engages in that activity. Since that activity is the most exacting one in making good arrows, it is natural that fletcher would come to refer to the entire process of making arrows. I have found cites for fletcher referring to a device that assists in the fletching of arrows. DCDuring (talk) 23:21, 13 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
I think I've cited all three senses. We can dispense with the Grose cite, which conveys the idea that bowyers and fletchers are distinct groups of tradesmen. DCDuring (talk) 00:11, 14 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
