Gam vs. gamb. I can't find any citation for gam as leg. However, gamb from gamba does show up. So, if nobody objects, I will delete gam as leg, find some quotes, and start a page for gamb. Ben 17:25, 6 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

RFV-sense "alternative spelling of gom: silly, foolish person". I managed to cite the whaling senses of gam, and I managed to cite this sense in the spelling gom, but I can't find this sense in this spelling. - -sche (discuss) 06:39, 2 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

RFV-failed. Had only one citation:
  • 1992, Kenneth Darwin, Familia 1992: Ulster Geneological Review: Number 8 →ISBN:
At some stage some gam of an official decided that Guihen should be translated to the English name Wynne.
