How industry specific does a niche term need to be? This -ize construct is clearly improper and cannot be used outside of the marketing industry. It appears in a marketing dictionary; it does not belong in Wiktionary. --Connel MacKenzie 17:58, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)

  • Keep. Wikipedia is a general dictionary of all words, slang, and anything else in usage. I don't see why we should exclude marketing terms[1]. 24 20:48, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)
  • Keep, this term is also used in software development. [2] Kappa 20:50, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)
  • Keep, it may be a buzzword, and it may be obnoxious, but it meets every qualification for inclusion. See: w:Genericized trademarks Jun-Dai 20:51, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)
  • Keep Why are we even talking about this? -dmh 20:53, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)
  • Keep, 24 and Jun-Dai said everything I wanted to. --Wytukaze 21:22, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)
While 24 and Kappa make valid points, I must adamantly point out to the rest of you that the currently disputed WS:CFI of a short while ago would most likely have excluded this term. {{rfd}} has been removed as per indications above. --Connel MacKenzie 21:50, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)
If CFI is excluding otherwise reasonable terms (and I'm curious as to why you say it was/is), then it needs to change. -dmh 22:06, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)
