Shift in meaning?[edit]

Seeing a shift in meaning among Americans. (The word has never been used much as slang for "disgusting" in the UK.) It used to be primarily physical things, e.g. slimy, icky, dirty, whereas now e.g. among Tumblr SJWs it is used a lot to refer to attitudes and behaviours. Equinox 17:33, 19 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Sanskrit and Ancient Greek 144[edit]

Translation table says word for 12 dozen (144) in Sanskrit and Ancient Greek is "gross" (in Roman script!). Seems unlikely.
