ha'-boiled

Half-boiled in local Malaysian pronunciation can sound a bit like ha'-boiled, and hence is easily misconstrued as hard-boiled. True story. Not sure whether this is worth mentioning in the article.

I'm not 100% confident on the pronunciation of Malaysia/Singapore, so I'll leave it to others to fill in.

Incidentally, I wonder whether Wiktionary might be relatively light-on for Malaysian English expressions. No particular evidence, but half-boiled is a very common term over there (and soft-boiled is rather considered an obscure term).

The entry was created in the Chinese WT back in 2021: zh:half-boiled. Maybe the corresponding Chinese language term (半熟的 or 半沸的? Sorry, I don't read Chinese.) inspired the Malaysian & Singaporean usage of this English-language term???
