Spelling[edit]

Is "half-brother" hyphenated? I've always seen it written "half brother" with no hyphen. If both forms are valid, I've no problem with having them both in Wiktionary. But in that case, perhaps it would be be better to indicate that they're alternate spellings and link between the two. -- Ortonmc 04:09, 8 Feb 2004 (UTC)

Using dictionary.com and websters-dictionary-online.org I can find it hyphenated and unhyphenated but not consistently. I'd just make on a redirect to the another, plus the matching one for half-sister. Hippietrail 05:01, 8 Feb 2004 (UTC)
