syllabification[edit]

Is the syllabification for received pronunciation, /ˌhaɪərˈɑːkɪkəl/, correct? Since an /r/, or more precisely [ɹ], never occurs at the end of a syllable, shouldn't it be /ˌhaɪəˈrɑːkɪkəl/ ? Dan Pelleg (talk) 00:32, 19 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
