Usefulness of the distinction[edit]

I am unsure about the usefulness of the distinction drawn by the two definitions, one referring to an institution providing a part of secondary education, while the other provides whole of secondary education. The distinction is made in Wikipedia though. --Daniel Polansky 10:14, 28 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

I heard it in a movie - "Smoking and drinking is so high school." ---> Tooironic 14:30, 14 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Canadian raising[edit]

I'm from New Jersey, and I Canadian raise the igh in high school, but not high score, or really any other phrase where the long i and unvoiced consonant are in different words.--Simplificationalizer (talk) 01:38, 6 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
