I would have thought such a usage is proscribed. It sounds phonetically incorrect to sound the consonant on an before the voiced H. Unless some dialects omit the sound of the consonant? -- Cbf536 02:52, 20 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Some people prefer the an before many words beginning with h. It seems to be a primarily American phenomenon, but it does exist across a large number of people and words. --EncycloPetey 02:54, 20 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
