This is a misspelling of huskar, which you can see in the Bokmål dictionary and the Norwegian Academy Dictionary. The word comes from Old Norse húskarl, which might be the source of confusion regarding the final L. This goes for the inflections as well, which all have pages now. Huskarl with l is not a misspelling, it is an archaic spelling.

It has now correctly been marked as an archaic spelling, it used to suggest it was the standard translation of housecarl in Modern Norwegian. Supevan (talk) 05:54, 30 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
