Proto-Uralic form[edit]

The entry says that we cannot reconstruct a Proto-Uralic form for the cardinal number 2. However, it gives us Proto-Finno-Permic *kakta, Proto-Ugric *kektä, and Proto-Samoyedic *kitä. It is reasonable to believe that the Proto-Samoyedic form comes from an earlier *kiktä and plausibly from *kektä. Could it be that the Proto-Uralic form was *kekta, becoming fronted (*a > ) in Proto-Ugric and Proto-Samoyedic, but shifting down to Proto-Finno-Permic *käkta > *kakta?
