Issues around pronunciation[edit]
Note there is an alternate form linage. That can't possibly have three syllables, can it, so it can't be the same pron as the /ˈlɪ.ni.ɪdʒ/ given here? Perhaps it's /ˈlaɪn.ɪdʒ/ when talking about the advertising/newspaper sense of a line count, rather than one's family ancestry? Equinox ◑ 19:30, 28 October 2020 (UTC)
