@Linguoboy Do you recall where you found these Old Catalan forms (maisnada, maisonada)? They are not mentioned by the cited source.

If they are not attested, I suspect this word was actually borrowed from Old French maisnee, with regular early loss of /s/. Nicodene (talk) 14:20, 31 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
