Afrikaans translation

I've been active on Wikipedia a while, but not Wiktionary, so I'm unfamiliar with the mechanisms. I followed the link on the people page to this page by clicking on the Afrikaans translation of people, mense. However, I see nothing on this page reflecting that fact.

I'm not clear what should go here, and what should go on http://af.wiktionary.org/wiki/mense http://af.wiktionary.org/wiki/mense? Greenman 23:13, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

To add it on this page, you add an ==Afrikaans== section to this page. If you speak fluent Afrikaans, you can enter the equivalent page on af:mense. So, mense should explain the word to English readers, while af:mense should define the word for Afrikaans readers. I'll make this addition here, now, but please double check it for me, as I don't speak Afrikaans at all. --Connel MacKenzie 23:21, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
