Pure speculation: the double r makes me think that this is minger + réd; if that is the case, it could possibly mean "lowerspeak", compare German minder + German Rede. -nd- > -ng- occurs in multiple Highest Alemannic dialects; Bern also has it, see e.g. Ching which is Chind in most High Alemannic dialects. — Fytcha T | L | C 19:35, 15 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
