Slang synonyms[edit]
I've come across terms like "bleaching" and "colonizing" in regular use on boards, would be interested in knowing if any noteworthy books or news articles have reported on these or other slang. Word coined as a hoax[edit]
Not sure where to mention this or how many other examples there are (quiz? Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg?), but a(nother?) word which was coined as a hoax and then saw some real use is Brazilian aardvark. - -sche (discuss) 21:00, 27 September 2020 (UTC)
