Vowel Length[edit]

Though given here as natrīx, the vowel length of the suffix is given as short by several sources (Walde & Hofmann 1938: 147, Ernout & Meillet 2001: 431, Schrijver 1991: 151), and is confirmed by metrical scansion. The vowel length as it stands now seems to come from Lewis & Short. If no one is opposed, I will change it. Kavindad1 (talk) 10:05, 4 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for pointing that out! I edited the entry. Do you know of any metrical evidence for the quantity of the second vowel other than the line in Lucilius?--Urszag (talk) 21:06, 4 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
