enby (phonetic respelling of "NB") is Internet slang for the LGBT sense. I think it's a noun. Equinox 10:17, 27 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

I agree that "enby" is a noun. I've only seen the abbreviation "nb" used as an adjective. The plural "nonbinaries" yields enough Ghits that I'm inclined to say "nonbinary" is a noun too, but inspecting the hits more closely indicates that it does not seem to be what nonbinary folks themselves say, and in fact that it tends to have a derogatory ring to it, like "a trans", "a gay", "a female" and so on. I thought I'd seen "nonbinaries" around before as used by nb folks themselves (although it's possible that was only in German), so I considered it to be unproblematic and standard, and it also sounds kind of cute to me, but now I'm beginning to wonder. --Florian Blaschke (talk) 15:01, 7 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
