Added the general, not scientific definition. 1st part from the OED, second is my own. Reference - WATSON: Shyppe of Fooles I. i, Approche you vnto this doctryne and it reuolue in your myndes organyques.

Also redid the chemistry definition. Reference - 1894 Schorlemmer Rise & Devel. Organ. Chem. v. 88 We define, therefore, that part of our science which is commonly called organic chemistry as the Chemistry of the Hydrocarbons and their derivatives.Menswear

Please verify this sense. I can see where this could come from, but honestly I've never heard the word used in this sense. I cannot locate it in any dictionaries I know of either. Could be a regionalism? JamesjiaoT C 20:55, 19 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
