Just a thought[edit]
In sense 1, "live longer than" is not the same as "continue to live after the death of". If Bob was born in 1990, and I die today, Bob has outlived me in the sense of being alive later, but I have also outlived him (in terms of duration) because I was born in 1980. Equinox ◑ 16:44, 10 May 2017 (UTC)
