p. Is used to refer to a page, yes, but not without a page number! I have seen both "p. 99" and "p.99", i.e., with and without a space between the "p." and the page number. If there is a style guide for its use, I would like to include it here. I have not been able to find any other reference on the web that is clear about it. At least on other languages usuages like (translated) "The Book has 100 pp. [read: pages]" exist. E.g. in German "32 S. (in Farbe)" ("32 pp. (in colo[u]r)") at www.scrollheim.de/Books.html & www.mattes.de/buecher/praenatale_psychologie/wir-ich.html . -IP, 15:31, 24 November 2014 (UTC)
