A hit from a beak[edit]

I've just added the 4th definition:

A strike with one's beak, which can be a stab or a bit
The bird gave the ice a peck with his beak

But I'm very surprised it wasn't there already, so I thought I'd draw attention to it by leaving a message here in case I'm making some silly mistake. Gronky (talk) 03:12, 5 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for noticing. What was really missing was any reference to the verb, so I replaced your definition with a more general one- otherwise, we would have to add a separate noun sense for each verb sense, which could get unwieldy. Chuck Entz (talk) 04:03, 5 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
