To all editors on the "Piping Shrike". I have added that the Piping Shrike is the White Backed Magpie. I believe it is important to include this. I'm interested in your thoughts on the topic. I have spent time going back through the history and origins of the name in Australian, especially SA history. You need to plough through a lot of incorrect information to get to the facts on this subject. Two notable sources pf misinformation are an ABC podcast summary by Sonya Feldhoff and also the Bank SA ads, where they got the bird wrong. Adastral (talk) 21:50, 30 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
