When speaking of pinching out a plant what is meant - specifically re Poinsettia to help reblooming? — This comment was unsigned.
- The purpose of pinching out a plant in this way is to divert its energy into growing more shoots and leaves rather than flowers - then, when flowering (blooming) happens, you should get more flowers. SemperBlotto 14:24, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
